15.5 months...not bad
There's pictures below...I won't be offended if you skip my blabber! Well I think it's fair to say that the girls are officially sick for the first time. Nothing too serious - just a cold. The night I wrote the last post Leah had a fever. She had a very hard time sleeping unless I was holding her. She finally conked out at 2am. This is very unlike Leah so we knew something had to be wrong. Leah's snot cleared up by Tuesday but Emma has been pretty snotty all week. Last night we thought they were over it and then this morning they both started coughing and they would not nap. They both just wanted to be held - they've never wanted to be held so badly at the same time and I did my best. Thankfully it was cool in the house because the heat of 2 babies lying on you is something else. It's been a long day. Of course by the time John got home they were back to themselves. I'm really itching to get them off their bedtime bottle. They both ate a HUGE dinner last night (eggs, chicken, veggies, yogurt, bread and lots of milk) so we thougth last night would be a good idea to try no bottle. What a disaster. We ended up giving them their strawcups with warm milk at 9pm (bedtime was 8...) and then at 2:30am. Poor babies were sick and I'm trying to make them be big girls. They got their bottles tonight - we're waiting til they both feel 100%. Not much else to report. I'm just happy it's Friday and John is home. I love weekends. The girls have another baby friend to welcome. Denise and Rick had their baby boy Owen (check out the Two Step link). So many babies!
